HTCC Volunteer Opportunities
8th Annual Haverford Music Festival is coming on Saturday, Sept 8th!
John Paul White, Sloan, Lily & Madeline, PI Power Trio and Cliff Hillis top the bill of more than 30 acts for a full day of late-summer family fun
The Haverford Music Festival is an all-volunteer run event that makes a huge annual impact on our community! No experience is necessary and we always welcome new volunteers who want to help, whether you can work one 2-3 hour shift or more. We are especially looking for that special breed of volunteer who will show up early on Saturday to help us set up the stages and festival grounds or will stay late to help us clean up after the last notes have faded. Friends and the Llanerch Civic Assn. matted and chipped about 2/3 of the trail section from Manoa to the end near the Llanerch Shopping Center (aka LA Fitness) but there is plenty left to do. You can come out on your own schedule or email us and let us know if you want to be put on an email “short list” for when we go out on the spur of the moment to finish it off. Email Ryan at xenius@gmail.comand he will let you know what you can do on your own and when we will be going back out. Volunteer to help us do more! If we had more volunteers, we could run Bike Safety Rodeos, lead more hikes and more bike rides and have more trail building events. Some of our core group of volunteers has been too busy this summer to field a full schedule of hikes and bike rides and we are looking for new volunteers who love trails, hiking and biking to step up. Please help us and encourage friends and family to help as well! Please reach out by email at peter.puglionesi@appliedehs.com or rich.kerr@verizon.net. |
