The Haverford Township Civic Council holds several meetings a year which are open the public, usually featuring a speaker or program related to one of our action priorities. In the past we have held meetings with presentations about Ardmore Junction, the Library, the YMCA, Freedom Playground, and Business Revitalization.

On Tuesday, October 25th we are hosting a Civic Council meeting which will begin with a 15 minute general business meeting and then focus on two of our action priorities: Trees & Trails. The meeting will include presentations and a chance for the audience to ask questions.

Topics to be Addressed Include:

  • The Environmental Impact of Trees
  • Tips on Tree Selection, Planting & Care
  • Haverford Township Tree Tenders
  • Haverford Township's Shade Tree Ordinance & the Shade Tree Commission
  • Haverford Heritage Trail
  • Friends of Haverford Trails
  • Existing Trails on Township Land & Long-Range Plans
  • Making the Township More Pedestrian & Bicycle-Friendly

Please come show your support for the future of trees & trails in Haverford Township!
